Most Sydney weddings need guest transport for three groups: immediate family, guests who are drinking, and anyone travelling from out of town. Vehicle choice follows headcount, from a sedan for three to a Sprinter van for eleven or more.
Who Actually Needs Transport
Not every guest does, and trying to move everyone is expensive and unnecessary.
Three groups usually do. Immediate family, because they are in photographs and cannot be late. Guests who will be drinking, particularly if the reception has no parking. And out-of-town guests staying at one hotel, who are easy to move in a single vehicle.
Everyone else can generally be left to their own arrangements, provided you give them the addresses and a realistic travel time.
Matching the Vehicle to the Headcount
Group size decides this almost entirely.
Three or fewer: a prestige sedan. Eight to ten: a Chrysler 300 Super Stretch. Twelve to sixteen: a Stretch Hummer. Eleven or more with luggage or elderly guests: a Mercedes Sprinter van, which has the easiest step-in of anything in the fleet.

Coordinating It Without Chasing People
The failure point is never the vehicle. It is guests not knowing where to be.
Four things solve it. Put pickup point and time on your website or invitation, not just in a group chat. Nominate one person per vehicle who is responsible for the headcount, and it should not be you. Set the pickup fifteen minutes before you actually need to leave. And give the driver that person’s phone number rather than yours.
That last one matters more than it sounds. On the day, you will not be answering your phone.
When to Book It
Guest transport is usually the last thing arranged and the first thing that becomes difficult, because larger vehicles are the scarcest part of any fleet on a Saturday.
