The Shire is the most self-contained area we service. Ceremony at St Patrick’s in Sutherland or St Aloysius at Cronulla, photographs on the beach or at Woolooware Bay, reception at Cronulla RSL or the golf club, and the whole day happens south of the river without crossing anything.
That is worth planning for deliberately, because the moment a reception sits over Tom Uglys or Captain Cook Bridge the day changes shape. A thirty minute run at midday becomes close to an hour by late afternoon, and a bridal party arriving separately can be split by twenty minutes at the venue door. If the reception is over the bridge, we leave earlier and cross before the traffic rather than after it.
Cronulla itself sets the timing for most Shire weddings. The beach and the esplanade are where the photographs happen, and the hour before sunset is what everything else is arranged around.
