Lamborghini Huracan Spyder for Hire

The Huracan Spyder is the convertible version of the Huracan, and ours is the only one in Sydney fitted with a Liberty Walk body kit. The kit widens the arches and reshapes the body, so the car is recognisable in photographs even to people who could not name the model.

It is the most photographed vehicle in our fleet, and most bookings are made for that reason: with the roof lowered there is no glass or roofline in the frame, so the car reads as a subject rather than a background.

Why Choose the Spyder?

An open roof changes what an arrival looks like. Guests see the passenger as the car pulls in rather than after the door opens, videographers get usable footage of the drive in instead of a reflection on a windscreen, and photographers can shoot down into the cabin.

The soft top retracts in around seventeen seconds and operates at low speed, which means the roof can come down on the approach rather than at a standstill. If the weather turns, it closes just as quickly and the Spyder becomes a coupe again.

On the Day

Wind affects hair, dresses and veils more than most people expect, so your chauffeur will ask before lowering the roof. The usual approach for weddings is to travel with it closed, stop out of sight of the venue, then lower it for the final approach and the photographs.

Can the roof be down while the car is being driven?

Yes. The soft top operates while the car is moving at low speed, which is how most arrivals are done: the roof comes down on the approach to the venue rather than after the car has stopped. At higher speeds it needs to be raised or lowered while stationary.

What happens if it rains on my booking date?

The roof closes in around seventeen seconds, so a shower does not cancel a booking. Your chauffeur watches the forecast on the day and will suggest timing the open-top section around it, which usually means travelling with the roof closed and lowering it for the arrival window.

What is a Liberty Walk body kit?

Liberty Walk is a Japanese workshop founded by Wataru Kato, known for cutting into factory panels to fit wider arches rather than bolting parts on top of them. The conversions are permanent and expensive, which is why very few fitted examples exist in Australia and fewer still are available for hire.

Is the Spyder suitable for evening events?

Yes. The cabin lighting means the car still photographs well after dark, which is why it is popular for evening receptions and formals. Sydney evenings can be cool with the roof down, so the heating and seat warmers are usually running during night bookings.
